Who We Work With
Inflection Point and La Française Group recognise the importance of working alongside other investors to seek solutions to social, environmental and economic challenges.
Many of today’s social and environmental challenges are systemic in nature; they cannot be addressed by governments, companies or investors acting in isolation. While climate change is the most prominent, other challenges, such as income inequality, marine pollution, corporate tax avoidance and cybercrime demand co-operative solutions.
La Française Group and Inflection Point by La Francaise (*) are signatory to or member of the following initiatives, respectively:
o UN PRI – Principles for Responsible Investment
o UNEP FI – United Nations Environment Program Finance Initiative
• Member of the UNEP FI Investment Committee
• Pilot project for implementing the TCFD recommendations (2018)
• Portfolio Decarbonisation Coalition (PDC)
• Energy Efficiency Financial Institutions Group: Statement of Support (EEFIG)
o The Institutional Investors Group on Climate Change (IIGCC)*
o Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP)
Manchester Business School
Inflection Point has a research collaboration with Manchester Business School with a focus on the application of artificial intelligence to ESG analysis. This has so far resulted in the creation of a text mining solution for assessing and scoring company disclosures of supply chain management. An academic publication is planned in the near-term. The plan beyond this is to further develop the approach and apply it to different data sets, opening new sources of information that can enhance Inflection Point’s sustainability research.
